And apparently subtle romance was not on the agenda for this one.
Like all of our brooms, everything is made and decorated completely by hand, so no two will ever look exactly the same. The broom you’re looking at is the only one of her.
For Lover’s Whimsy, I wanted to create something around love, connection and devotion — but without making it all painfully sickly.
At its centre is a large clear quartz tower, traditionally used for clarity, intention and amplifying the energy of whatever you're working with.
Around it, I’ve added rosemary, pink and white baby’s breath and roses — bringing together associations with love, remembrance, protection, devotion and lasting connection.
And then, because apparently I decided restraint was overrated, we have the charms.
A little Lovers tarot charm, alongside a large Sacred Heart, bringing in those themes of devotion, passion and the beautifully messy business of actually loving something.
There are also two spell jars worked into the broom.
The first contains rose quartz and black tourmaline — love and protection sitting side by side, because frankly I think any decent love magic should probably have a little bit of both.
And the second is filled with rose petals, chamomile and lemon balm, chosen for love, peace, comfort and gentle emotional healing.
Everything on this broom has been chosen to celebrate love in all its forms — romantic love, self-love, devotion, connection and the things we choose to hold close.
