Mabon broom

£38.00

Our Mabon Broom is here.

And if you’re already mentally halfway into autumn, this one is absolutely for you.

Like all of our brooms Everything is made and decorated by hand, so no two will ever look exactly the same. The broom you’re looking at is the only one of her.

For this piece, I wanted to capture Mabon and the autumn equinox — that point in the year when day and night meet in balance, the harvest is coming in and the darker half of the year is beginning to creep a little closer.

At its centre is a large tiger’s eye tower, traditionally associated with grounding, protection, confidence and abundance.

Around it, I’ve worked wheat, pinecone, sage and dried botanicals into the broom, bringing in those lovely earthy associations with harvest, protection, prosperity and the changing season.

Then we have two little spell jars.

One filled with citrine chips, associated with abundance and warmth, finished with a little sun charm.

And the other filled with red jasper chips for grounding, stability and strength, finished with a moon charm.

The Sun and the Moon, light and dark — a little nod to the balance at the heart of the equinox.

Everything on this broom has been chosen to celebrate that shift in the season: what we’ve grown, what we’ve gathered, what we’re grateful for — and what we're ready to carry with us into the darker months.

one-of-a-kind Mabon Broom.

Handmade, full of autumn magic, and quite frankly giving me another excuse to become completely bloody insufferable about autumn.
